I’m a wife, a doggy-mom, a sister, a daughter, and a friend. Obviously, I love photography, that goes without saying. I spend a ton of my time on the computer, taking care of business tid-bits, doing a lot of editing, and a little bit of graphic design work too. I have the luxury of being able to work from home, which for me means that most days I’m in my pajamas until around noon working with a dog on my lap. Around lunch time I get presentable for the day and resume my work, again with a dog on my lap. Yes, it really is as good as it sounds.
My favorite thing to shoot is weddings. I’m a Nikon girl. I’m a perfectionist, but struggle with staying organized (it’s a constant chore for me). I drink coffee daily from my deliberately mis-matched set of coffee mugs. Before becoming a photographer, I worked in benefits for twelve years. I’m a grad school drop-out, I just couldn’t stay inspired enough to finish (who knows, maybe one of these days I’ll go back). My hair is always changing, I get bored with it very quickly. I love my life as it is today.
