Photographer
No matter if it’s film or pixels, I’m most comfortable with a camera in my hand. I am a huge photo nerd and I embrace it as much as possible. I am a recent Des Moines transplant, originally from North Carolina (Oh, how I miss southern food). I rediscovered photography when I moved here and fell back into the groove of things quickly and it just grew from there. Laura had faith in me to grow with her and Life Art Photographs. For me, creating images has gone beyond an interest and into a full-fledged obsession. I know its cliché’, but just ask my friends and family, there is always at least one camera with me, usually more.
Things you may want to know… Yes, I love sushi. I collect cameras and use them. I read beat literature. I love Mom’s crocheted hats. I get down to French music. My favorite thing in the whole wide world is the moment I open a film canister and see my images for the first time. Well, that and red vines.
