Autumn & Dylan’s DSM Wedding!

I’ve put up a couple of teasers for this wedding so these two may look familiar to you. I just couldn’t help it though, I LOVE this couple! I wish they lived here in Des Moines!! Even though close to a year had passed since they chose me to be their wedding photographer, Autumn greeted me with a big hug right in the middle of getting ready. She and all of her friends were just so much fun, and they are all just gorgeous so of course it was fun to shoot! Autumn’s shoes were the most beautiful combination of pretty and funky and she wore pieces of heirloom jewelry mixed in with pieces of her own. Everything came together perfectly! Plus, her dress was to die for!

They chose not to see each other before their ceremony, so by the time they got to see each other they were both feeling a little giddy. It was sooo cute to watch their anticipation as they got to see each other for the first time!

Their ceremony was short, sweet and filled with personal details that kept everyone laughing (all except for maybe the flower girls and the ring bearer – who cares when you’re that cute though… right?).

After the ceremony, we spent a little bit of time on pictures, a little bit of time on the party bus, and then headed to one of the craziest receptions I’ve ever shot!

Their reception was at the Scottish Rite in Des Moines, and it was stunning!

Seriously… how could I NOT love this couple? Dylan’s favorite color is orange!

The party started with all of the traditional stuff and then it got a little wild! This is one fun group! I even met them out afterward, which is something I RARELY do after a long day of shooting.

Even their grandmothers are fun!

And this is how the party ended… Autumn taking down her hair and leading everyone in a rap. If I remember correctly, it was Ice Ice Baby. Correct me if I’m wrong though.
